I never heard your words
they changed each time I turned
but when I spun around
no longer were you there.

Then with nothing much to do
I sat and watched the stars
until I saw the moon
in hope, I'd dream of you.

what did you say
I tried to change
but never heard your words
each phrase became too much
you never sat around
and each day became too long.

So I stood and walked away
towards the ocean and the spray
it was then I heard your words
with the clarity of mind
and when I spun around
there you were -
